L National Business' Women's Week ' will be observed throughout the Na tion for, the twenty-seventh year be ginning on October 19, and ending Oc tober 16. The organization of The National Federation of .Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc, is contributing much toward the develop ment of business and industry, and emphasizing "Get-OutThe-Vote" In this Congressional Election Year. - The Perquimans Business and Professional Women's Club, as an affiliate or The National Federation,, is likewise con tributing much toward the improve ment and progress of business, indus try, and civic means in our com munity. , : The theme for the year is "Adven ture In Achievement" The N. Rest Qh Voters On Ifa- 2d North Carolinians will vote Novem ber 2 on five proposed amendments to the State Constitution. , X - : The first one would authorize the General Assembly to provide for re calling retired. supreme court Justices to fill temporary vacancies caused by illness or other emergencies. , , : The second would authorize the General Assembly to- create a' board of paroles and confer upon it the au thority to grant, revoke and terminate paroles which it now eexreises by the Governor..1"-.;.''
