He was the son the late late Rich ard H. and Ella C. White and a native and lifelong resident of Perquimans County. Survivors include one broth er, Charlie C. White and and one sister, ' Mrs. J. M. Jolliff , both of Perquimans Countv. Funeral services were conduct ed at the home Tuesday after noon at 2 o'clock with members of the American Legion Post of ficiating.
