There are some Who have already definitely made up their minds on the issue; but there are also others who are still
undecided. The following questions and statements are to help the undecided to decide:
I. ' The letters A.B.C. stand for Alcoholic Beverage Control. The question ,
arises "What do the ABC Store and the ABC Board control?"
1. ' Do they control the 'one who drinks alcohol so that he does not be

from the N. C. Senate and Hpuse if there is no legal or moral aspect

3; Do not all of us agree that that which is declared legal should be that
which helps and protects the general welfare of the people?
4. Why do many people say, "If this were an election to wipe alcohol
out of the world, I would vote it out!" if these do not see the potential
evil in it? '
5. If we admit that there is potential evil in the use of alcohol as a bev
v erage, then we must ask ourselves, "Is it ever right to legalize that
x which encurages and makes possible wrong-doing?"
