During the business session, Mrs. Anna Harmon announced that Mrs. Pat Harrell would rep resent the Hertford Club in the "Youne Career Woman" contest at the district meeting in Edenton March 31st. Miss Hulda'Wood, over-all chairman of the up coming spaghetti supper, named her committees and Friday night April 26th., was set as the date for said supper. Hertford Gram mar School will be the place and tickets will be one dollar. The club solicits the support of the public in this endeavor. The program chairman, Brenda Baccus, gave a report on the program that will be given on March 15 at the High School by Miss Thelma Elliot. 'The upcoming business that well be discussed at the March 15th meeting will be FHA Week.FH A Chapel Program, and the FHA Ralley. ... Those present were Miss Frances Newby, advisor, Linda Winslow, Brenda Baccus, Cheryl Copeland, Linda Long, Virginia Harrell, Dianne Stallings, Donna Talley, Margaret Mansfield and Francis Mansfield. Biggers, Director of the Neighborhood youth corps for the ten-county Albemarle area; attended a meeting In Raleigh March 21 and 22 to re view the summer program. Sponsors and directors of all sixty - four projects In North Carolina were represented. The 360Jobshavebeenallotted to the Albemarle area far the summer program. In order to be eligible a student must be planning to return to school In September. Applications for the summer work have been distributed to all- thirty - eight high schools In the ten counties.
