The Eager Beaver 4-H Club
held their monthly meeting March
5, 1969 at the Woodland United
Methodist Church. The meeting
. was called to order by President
.Barry Lane. Pledgee were then
led by Debbie Harrell. Songs by
Debbie Lane, Devotion by Beverly
Eure. We then had the roll call
and minute read with 9 mem
bers present. The treasurers'
report was given and the dues
were taken up with $2.28 total
collected,
Under old business, we dis
cussed health reports. Under new
business we talked about the
talent show and we welcomed
our new leader Mrs. Marvin

April meeting are:

by Brenda Baccus. Peggy Jen
nings led the FHA Praver Song.
Everyone joined in the Pledge
of Allegiance to the American
flag and the Lord' prayer.
Linda Long read the minute
and called the roll.

Frances Mansfield was selected
FHA'er of the Month, ,
A committee waa appointed to
draw up a alate of officers for
next year,'-

teacher, waa Introduced and
given a warm welcome.
The program consisted of a
display of crafts mad by mem
bora of the FHA.. These crafts
were judged by Ilia Gray White,
Sue Furguaon, and Sue InnanU
Each girl is to receive a prize
for her work.
The girls were told about the
Albemarle Craftsman's Fair to
. be held in Elisabeth City
- September St-SS. Mrs, White
told the girls how they could
enter crafts they "had made In

The Whitest on 4-H Club held
its regular meeting in March at
the Whit est on community Build
ing. The meeting was called to or
der by Julian Baker, who also
gave the devotion. Music was
played by Darlene Felt on and ,
Claudia Wlnalow.
The minutes were read and
approved. The roll waa called
with SS members present. The
offering was taken. Plans for the
annual 4-H supper were dis
cussed, Mrs. Annie Mae Baker gave a
very Interesting talk on "Living
With Yourself."
We then had recreation and re
freshment were served. This
was enjoyed by all.
