Tht student li Mary S. Harrell, who Ii the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Harrell Jr. of 109 N. Railroad street, Hertford. The honor roll at UNC-G Is composed of students whose semester grades are In the upper eight per cent of the freshman class, the upper 10 per cent of the sophomore class and the upper 12 per cent of the Junior and senior classes respectively. Altogether, 490 UNC-G students out of a total undergraduate enrollment of 4.536 attained the honor roll during the semester. UNC-G also had over 1.500 graduate students enrolled during the spring semester. A total of 112 undergraduates at UNC-G made all A's during the grading period. Personal Freedom The Rev. Edwin T. Williams. Rector of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hertford, will deliver a special series of sermons on Personal Freedom on the Morning Devotion Program heard on Radio Station WCNC. Elizabeth City at 9:30 a.m. each morning. Belvidere Senior Citizen Honored Mrs. Jane Ella Eason White was honored recently on the occasion of her 85th birthday. Mrs. White, a member of Bay Branch AME Zion Church, has been a conference worker in her church for over forty years. Though her sight has failed she is still active physically and mentally and still loves to attend church when she is able. A daughter and her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren from Washington. D. C. as well as friends and relatives of the community called to wish Mrs. White "Happy Birthday". She received many gifts and was more than happy to know she has so many friends.
