Moore of Hamlet, N.C. were guest of Mrs. Mary Moore on Thursday. Winfall Homemakers Club Meets The Winfall Homemakers Qub met at the home of Mrs. Marie Jones on Thursday af ternoon Nov. 18. The meeting was called to order bthe Pres. Mrs. Mattie Modlin. After devotions, our Home extension agent, Mrs. M.B. Taylor distrubited leaflets "The Beautitudes of a Leader" to the members. Mrs. Taylor nave a demon stration on how to make a "Circular Cape Stole". The stole was modeled by Mrs. Hattle Ormond and was very chic. The roll was called and the ladles responded by paying dues and reciting a Bible verse. . The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Modlin reported on the Cancer Drive of which she had received $9.00. Mrs. Taylor gave the highlights on the Awards program that was held at the County Office Building recently. Names were drawn for Christmas gifts which will be presented at the next meeting that will be at the home of Mrs. Ormond on Dec. 16. At the close of discussing of old and new business the club collect was said in unison, after which the hostess served a delicious repast to the eight members present. The meeting was then adjourned.
