Williams, Rector of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hertford and Executive Administration of the Perquimans County Restoration Association was guest speaker. He showed slides' and told of plans for restoration of the Newbold-White (1684) House. Two years of effort by Perquimans people with the sponsorship of the North Carolina State Department of Archives and History has resulted in an appropriation by the past General Assembly of $25,000 towards the saving of the oldest house, of it's kind, in North Carolina. He stated that money or grants given, must be matched; therefore, everyones help is greatly needed. The meeting adjourned with the Club women repeating the Collect of Club Women.
