Chaplain Charles Wilson officiated at the double ring ceremony, Mrs. John Lavezzo, organist, and Miss Elizabeth Howard, soloist, presented the nuptial music. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Tarkenton and the late Mrs. Ruth Hassell Tarkenton of Hertford. Mr. Teague's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Roy Teague of Winston-Salem. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of silk organza featuring an empire bodice, A line skirt, Victorian neckline, with Calla Point on hand and Chapel length train trimmed in Venise lace. Her headpiece was a Juliette cap of Venise lace with elbow length veil of illusion, and she carried a bouquet of white stephanotis and phalaenopsis centered with an orchid.
