Well readers, as the ong says, "the times they are a-changing." So one change in the Weekly will be an added weekly column, namely the etc. 'This column is to inform those interested of the heavy hap penings at Perquimans County High School. The column will be written by ' Individuals of the P.C.H.S. 'journalism class that proudly f produces the high school paper, "propinquity," meaning togetherness. Other interested students will make con tributions by way of this column, i After this moat enlightening ' explanation of exactly what is going on, I would like to move along and tell you some of the events that have happened in or it our institution of learning. Seniors and juniors alike have , had some excitement recently. The seniors decided to once ; again produce the traditional r masterpiece known as the ; Senior' Play. This year's play ; will include selected senior talent during intermissions. Two treats for the price of one-quite ' a bargain. Seniors also received :' their graduation an : nouncements and calling cards last week. An alteration will be made concerning the date of graduation (due to snow), but seniors are still thrilled at the '. thought of completing their high . school education. Members of ; the junior class .are busily working to raise funds for that ; annual gala affair known as the - Junior-Senior From. Besides selling their all-famous Pollywogs (candy), they are , now in the process of producing ; two one-act plays to add to the - increasing money, pile. - The Spokesman Quartet from , Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City presented a ' session of gospel -singing to PurniHmani Hitfh Srhnnl students on Friday morning : (The program was extremely well-organized and very en I joyable. - A California Cuties basketball I game was played Friday night, i The beauties from Hollywood PUook' on the disc jockeys from WGAI radio. As was expected, the cuties were victorious in a very exciting and humorous : game. Another exciting ballgame took place in the high school gym on Monday night. The .student-faculty 'basketball game was once again held.
