I. . .. f I V ' -- X Mrs. Michael Elton Stokely Stokely-Proctor Wedding Rites At Bethel Baptist Miss Susan Elaine Proctor and Michael Elton Stokely exchanged nuptial vows in a ceremony con ducted at Bethel Baptist Church on July 21. The Rev. Thomas Hugarland assisted by the Rev. Stanley Nixon performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of gladiolas, palms and mums. Mrs. Bobby Jones played the music and her husband sang. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Proctor of Hertford. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ike M. Stokely also of Hertford. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white, satin, chan tilly lace gown worn by her mother on her wedding day. Bridesmaids were: Miss Gail Proctor of Atlanta, Ga., Miss Susan Bunch and Miss Kathy Evans of Hertford, Miss Donna Baker of Durants Neck and Mrs. John ERon Hurdle and Mrs. Warren White. Flower girl was Lori McCIenney of Suffolk, Va. Attendants wore pastel gowns and matching picture hats. They carried nosegays of mixed colored daisies. Best man was father of the groom. Mother of the groom wore a floor length, pink knit dress and an or chid corsage. A reception was held at the church hall following the ceremony. The couple plans to make their home in Hertford. . A miscellaneous shower was held at the home of Mrs. Marion Riddick. A luncheon was given by the bridesmaids at the Holiday Inn. A rehearsal party was given by the groom's parents at their home.
