Herman Ward, TO THE EDITOR The Hertford Lions Club may well take pride in their sponsorship of Boy Scout Troop 155. The Troop, under the able guidance of Bobby Holland and Seymour ChappHI. has kept quite busy hi scouting relatated functions these past few months, highlighted by the Court of Honor, held last Saturday at the home of Tommy Harrell. The Ceremony, complete with hot dogs, hamburgers and all manner of good things culminated this summer season's activities. Among these many ac tivities were the Tidewater Council Camporee, during which the troop earned two blue ribbons. Eight of the troopers were elected and inducted into the Order of the Arrow, an honor camping organization; this during the "ordeal" at Camp Perry. The troop visited Wilmington and the battleship U.S.S. North Carolina, as well as spent a one week jaunt at Camp Pipsico, in Surray County, Virginia. During the Court of Honor, the following awards were given: 69 Merit Badges, 17 advancements in Rank, as well as Palms . for two of the troop's Eagle Scouts. For a twenty member troop, that is reason for the sponsors, parents, as well as the troopers themselves to be proud to be a part of 155.
