Latest WPA joke is that of a man who was working on a building. He was on the inside. Pick ing up a nail to drive into the wall, he noticed that the end that goes into the wall was facing him. "That's funny;' he remarked looking at the point of the nail, 'They got the head on the wrong end.' He called the foreman and showed it to him. The foreman called the superintendent of the job and they held a general discussion on the nail with the head on the wrong end. The finally decided they were working on the wrong side of the building, because the head of the nail was fac ing the wall and certainly couldn't be driven from the inside, it was an outside nail. And then one of then happened to glance down in to the keg of nails. 'Here's the trouble,' he said, They got the nails all mixed up when they put them in the keg. Just look at them, part are facing inside and part outside.' "Then another man was hired to separate the nails in the keg that were pointing to the outside, from those that were pointing to the inside, and everybodys' troubles were over." r r vj MOORE'S HEUAL lSatiit Moore's Regal Wall Satin interior latex paint . . at your service.
