Whiteston Homemakers Meet , ' The members of the Whiteston Homemakers Gub enjoyed a very busy meeting April 11, in the home of llrs. Louise Stall ing! learning the art of '"Bargello." Each member was given a square of can vas, a needle, and yarn to make a pin cushion. Mrs. Paige Underwood,1 County Homemakers. Agent, demostrated how to start and helped each member get on the way. Several members learned the art well enough to complete the Bridge Clubs Get Together Mrs. S.P. Jessup enter tained her' bridge club Thursday afternoon at her home on Front Street. Those playing were Mrs. S.M. Whedbee, Mrs. J.H. Newbold, Mrs. C.R. Holmes, Mrs. William Nixon, Mrs. H.C. Sullivan, Mrs. Katherine Ward, Grace Llewellyn, and Miss Louise Chalk.
