They visited Mr. and Mrs. Randy Hedrick and new son of Raleigh, N.C. on Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and Friday they attended the N.C. Public Health Conven tion at the Ramada Inn at Nags Head. They returned to their home in Cincinnati Monday morning. Mrs. Tommie Ellis will show movies of some of her recent trips to Hawaii, Nashville Grand Ole Opry, a trip through the mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. Mrs. Kenneth Spivey acted as one of the marshals at the graduation exercises at Elizabeth City State University on Sunday. Congratulations to Miss Michelle Boyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Boyce, who received the Womans' Auxiliary of the Albemarle Hospital scholar ship award. This is the health careers scholarship I and is presented to a deserv ing senior each year. Miss Boyce will study Medical Technology at High Point College. Dr. Joyce Copeland was a former recipient of the award. Points are awarded to the first five who place in the five events being held including wheelbarrow lac ing, sack racing, tug-o-war, dash, and Softball throw. The competition is set up so that rooms compete against rooms at each school. Combine sausage, chives and eggs in mixing bowl. Blend Mi c. ' mushroom soup into egg mixture. Reserve remain ing soup for sauce. For pastry, combine flour and salt, cut in shortening with fork or pastry blender until pieces are size of small peas. Sprinkle water a tablespoon at a time over part of mixture. Gently mix with fork until all is moistened. Form into a ball. (In the morning) Bake on a baking sheet in a 450 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until nicely browned, Serve with mushroom sauce made from reserved soup, heated and blended with milk to desired gravy consistency.
