FOR APPROVAL OF BONDS
NOTICE is hereby given of inten
tion of the undersigned to file ap
plication with the Local Government
Commission, Raleigh, North
Carolina for its approval of the Is
suance of bonds of the County of Per
quimans, which bonds shall be sub
ject to approval of the voters of said
County at an election and shall be for
the following purpose and in the
following maximum amount:
$1,850,000 of bonds to pay capital
costs of providing school facilities in '
Perquimans County, including the
construction and reconstruction of
school buildings, plants and other
facilities, the acquisition of
necessary land or rights in land and
the acquisition and installation of
furnishings and equipment
necessary for such school facilities,
in order to enable Perquimans Coun
ty to maintain public schools in the
County for the school term
prescribed by law.
Any citizen or taxpayer of Per
quimans County objecting to the is
suance of any or all of said bonds
may, within seven days after the
date of publication of this notice, file
with the Local Government Com
mission and with the undersigned a
written statement setting forth his
objections. The statement shall set
forth each objection to the proposed
bond issue and shall contain the
name and address of the person
filing it.
