lost his head over his job at College of the Albemarle re
cently. Billet, one of the college's maintenance personnel,
.was attempting to locate a wandering electrical circuit for
an air conditioning unit in the chemistry lab at the main
building. In order to trace the proper line among the mass
of wires which was encountered, it was necessary to play

Where not to be
in lightning
Lightning ia always
beautiful at a distance. It
ia necessary for greener
grass and taller trees, but
when experienced too
closely, it can stunt
growth! By George, it's
even dangerous.
So, take a few tips from
me: Avoid hilltops,' open
spaces, tractors, motor
cycles, wire fences,
clotheslines, and small
sheds in exposed places
when lightning
approaches. If no shelter is
available, kneel with
hands on knees, rather
than lying flat in open.
Keep away from open
windows, doors, fire
places, radiators, stoves,
metal pipes; Never use
plug-in electrical ap
pliances. Avoid using the
phone. Don't swim, or go
boating. Observe light
ning from a safe place.

Price tags change... But needs seldom do.
Picture yourself farming in 1935. And you've just trought the best tractor on the market for
only $995, It's really a beauty. Four forward gears with a top speed of 6 m.p.h. Plus it has the
power of six horses and a hydraulic power lift. Imagine.
Well, times have changed. Prices have changed but the need to borrow money has not changed.
And in this day and age, you need a loan more than ever to buy farm equipment. You also need
that loan personalized to fit your financial situation.
At the Bank of North Carolina, we personalize your loan to fit your needs and we offer loans
covering various needs. So come to the Bank of North Carolina for your next loan.
