Hunt Jr. acting to boost youth interest in athletic and competitive . endeavor, has called Punt, Pass and Kick to the atten tion of the people of North Carolina and encouraged boys and girls aged 8 through 13 to participate in this year's PP&K program. PP&K, the largest youth program of its kind in the country, is sponsored joint ly by the National Football League and the Ford Dealers of America. More than one million youngsters are expected to enroll for the competition this year. . Over 14 million have par ticipated in the PP&K pro grant since it began in 1961. Youths aged 8 through 13 punt, pass and placekick against others their own ages. Scoring is based on distance and accuracy.
