the County Extension
Building.
Officers for the coming
year were installed by Mrs.
Grace Dizon.

Activities planned for
Dec. include a trip to
Williamsburg and a weekly
bingo game. The club will
meet again on Dec. 12 for
their annual Christmas
luncheon.
Projects Exhibited
The Perquimans County
Schools, under the direction
of the supervisors of in
struction, were honored by
an invitation to exhibit pro
jects at the Winston-Salem
meeting of the National
Council of Teachers of
Mathematics recently.
A variety of projects
were including in the ex
hibit, completed both by
teachers and students of
Perquimans County
Schools.
Several teachers from
the local school system at
tended the meeting.
The three-day conference
provided workshops for
learning innovative
methods of teaching
mathematics.
