Already there has naturally been a storm of protest from those who feel that the Town of Winfall should not be cut off from the Highway, but there are many who have expressed the opinion that some such step is necessary on the part of the Highway Commission in order to Eliminate the sharp curve in Winfall. MORE FOR THE MONEY When buying meat pro ducts, consider the amount of lean meat in a cut as well as the price per pound. A relatively high-priced cut with little or no waste may provide more meat for your money than a low-priced cut with a great deal of bone, gristle or fat. SAVE CANNED LIQUIDS Don't waste the syrup or liquid from canned fruits. You can add the liquids to gelatin salads or desserts without adding too much sweetness. BIRTH ANNOUNCE MENT: Mr. and Mrs. JJA. Riddick of Hertford Banking Co. and Mrs. Rid dick, had three years in col lege followed by some business experience when he decided to enter the Army Air Corps. Though the work was interesting and Marion is enthusiastic about his experiences, he did not care to reenlist, hav ing other plans for his life work. Think about it. A drug is a drug. The only dif ference being one of degree. You may save your self some physical dis comfort as well as find a less expensive remedy for your condition ? all by trusting your personal pharmacist.
