Hoffman of Newport News, Va., Miss Ellen Chesson of Raleigh, Miss Kathy Anderson of Nags Head, Mrs. Wesley Higgins of Elizabeth City, and Mrs. Michael Johnson of Raleigh. Flower girl was Wendy Gurganus of Elizabeth City. Ring bearer was Mark Pritchard, nephew of the groom, also of Elizabeth City. Raymond Harold Prit chard Sr. served as his son's best man. Ushers were Harold and David Pritchard, brothers of the groom, of Elizabeth City, A.O. Roberts of Hertford, Randal Mathews, Wayne Mathews, of Elizabeth City, and Rodney Mathews of Kill Devil Hills, brothers of the bride. Following the ceremony, a reception for the couple was held in the church social hall. After a wedding trip to various points in the western part of the nation, the couple will reside at Rt. MRS. MICHAEL ALLEN PRITCHARD 6, Elizabeth City. The bride received her fine arts degree from Col lege of the Albemarle and a dental hygiene degree from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro. She is employed by the District Health Department in Elizabeth City as dental hygienist. The bridegroom attend ed College of the Albemarle and is employed by the Elizabeth City Police Department. Prior to the wedding, the couple was entertained at a buffet dinner hosted by Miss Fran Small, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Small and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ward. A bridesmaids' luncheon was given by relatives. A beach party at Nags Head was given by Miss Kathy Anderson, Miss Ellen Chesson, and Miss Mary Alice Riddick. Zion Church begin ning Sunday, Oct. 8 with Rev. Howard Manley open ing the revival. The service with Rev. Manley will be held Sun day starting at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Wills will speak the remainder of the week and will be accompanied by different choirs, ushers, and congregations. Rev. Alexander Green is host pastor. Celebrate Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Gordon of Hertford celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sept. 30 at Hillcrest Gardens, Hertford.
