"While my husband works the crops, I run the Perdue broiler houses. It's my own business, in my own bach yard." I've been around farming all my life, and I'm used to hard work. But, I'll admit, raising Perdue chickens isn't hard. In fact, I spend just a few hours in the houses each day. The work is even fun, because I know it's my business and I'm the boss. And since I can handle the job alone, my husband is able to devote his time to the crops. I have a lot of other interests- gardening, sewing, canning vegetables, doing community volunteer work, and I've got time for it all. It's great. I'm work ing near my husband, near my home, and setting my own hours. And if something happened to our crops, we'd still have a good steady income from our Perdue chickens. It's a real good feeling...of responsibility, and freedom. Talk chicken wilh Perdue. c .ii-. P-uAw pn Rn* 7V? Ahoskie NC 27910. Or call our sales office at (919) 332-81 1 1.
