N.C T?t. 426 5577 J M How most colds are caught Question: How are most colds caught? Answer: Spe cialists tell me most colds are spread by hand contact, rather than by aerosol ex posures created by sneezes and such. Initial hand or' skin contact between peo ple is followed by self-ino culation, usually in the form ?of finger contact with either the nose or eye. So, then, you can prevent colds by: 1) Washing hands thoroughly after contact with cold -infected indivi duals; 2) avoiding touch in? the membranes lining your nose and eyes. Also, get rest, eat w?U (especially, lota of chicken soup!), and drink 6-8 glasses liquid daily. We're not only your drug store, but your (Head. Come tee is soon.
