Both Charles Edward Fowler, 37, of Winfall and Norman Samuel Allen, 41, of Raleigh, were hospitalized after Fowler's 1977 Ford LTD slid into the path of Allen's 1977 Buick Landau some four miles north of Hertford, ac cording to N.C.
