The Perquimans County Extension
Homemakers are geared up for their third an
nual Festival of Skills to be held this Saturday
from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Per
quimans County High School Gym in Hertford.
This years festival will highlight the arts and
crafts of twenty-five Perquimans residents
along with many other area residents. Seven
teen new craftspeople will join in the festival
this year.

The Festival of Skills provides an excellent
time to get all of your Holiday shopping done
early, while giving you the opportunity to come
out and meet the area craftsmen.
Make plans to come early and enjoy a bowl
of homemade beef vegetable soup for lunch.
Admission is $1.00 for adults, and SO cents for
students. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m.
