Union School highlights Recently Mr. Phil Barnes had his eighth grade math class prepare a follow-up project that related to the unit on ratio, proportion, percent, and graphs. They were asked to con duct surveys of their choosing and graph their results. All surveys were very interesting with a variety of topics being se lected. Since the month of March was set aside as Drug and Alcohol Aware ness Month at Union, one of his stu dents, Denes ha Askew, conducted her survey on the feelings and atti tudes of her friends and classmates about drugs and some of their ideas as to the causes for the use of drugs and alcohol.
