The wedding will take place Sept. Historic Edenton program premiere A new audio-visual program about Historic Edenton will premiere at the Barker House Visitor Center Mon day, August 24. There will be six showings throughout the day. The public is invited to attend, but reser vations are required. There is no charge for the showings, however, because space is limited reservations will be taken only until available seating is filled. "Edenton is a Special Place" is the title of the all new program which will be shown daily at the Barker House to acquaint visitors with the beauty and history of the town. "Many people who stop by the Bar ker House have never visited Eden ton before," states Linda Eure, Site Manager. "The new slide program is designed to acquaint them with the town's natural and architectural beauty, its historical significance, and in so doing, to encourage them to spend some time here."
