Tuesday - Turkey sandwich, marinated tomatoes, potato salad, cookies, milk. Wednesday - Barbecue pork, coleslaw, juice, stewed pota toes, cake, milk. Wednesday - Child health in the morning. Dr. Slade and WIC in the afternoon. Thursday - Adult health aU day, immunizations 5-7 p.m. Friday - General health in the afternoon, WIC aU day. 1999 Birthday calendar The Belvidere-Chappell HiU Volunteer Fire Department is taking orders and listings for the 1999 Perquimans County Birthday Calendar. One calendar with up to 4 listings is $5 each, additional listing is 50 cents. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of a new building. ♦♦♦ Pesticide container collections Rinsed pesticide containers will be collected for recycling by PCG Solid Waste Management at the convenience sites in Perquimans County on the following date and times. , Sept. 14, 8-10 a.m., Hwy 17 North site; and 1-3 p.m. at Center Hill Highway site. Mrs. David Williams Lori Jo Chappell, Roger Wayne Alvarico Williams, Jordan wed Miss Kristie Jordan and Mr. David Williams were married June 28 at 3 p.m. in the Center Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Don English officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Blanchard and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Jordan of Tyner. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Williams of Edenton. The bride was given in mar riage by her parents. She wore a white satin gown designed with a V-neckline, trimmed with pearls and sequins. The fitted bodice was overlaid with Battenburg lace and the long, tapered sleeves were of the same lace. The softly gathered skirt was entirely edged with beaded lace and extended to a cathedral train. Maid of honor was Mandy Jordan, sister of the bride, of Tyner. Bridesmaids were Stacey Byrum of Greenville, Heather Hollowell of Tyner, Stacey Baker of Edenton, and Heather Copeland, niece of the groom, of Edenton. Honorary bridesmaid was Julie Williams, sister of the groom, of Georgia. The fatl\er of the groom served as best man. Hurdle gets business experience Some 337 students from North Carolina State University participated in the NC State Cooperative Education Program during the summer. The program, which is open to undergraduate and gradu ate students who meet the aca demic requirements, is designed to integrate academic study with related job experi ences.
