Workshop for parents offered The Chowan/Gates/Perquimans Partnership for Children is offering a workshop for parents of chil dren from birth through age five on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Dillard’s Mill Road Community Center (Old White Oak School) on 123 Dillard’s Mill Road in Tyner. The workshop, titled, “Alien’ Behaviors-Who is the Alien?’ Me or My Child?” will be led by the Partnership’s Early Childhood Specialist, Debra Dawson, and will focus on how a better understanding of children’s stages of development can help parents cope with their chil dren’s seemingly inappropriate behaviors.
