Tournament canceled The 9th Annual Martin County United Way Invitational Two Day Team Bass Fishing Tournament scheduled Aug. 2-3 on the Roanoke River, has been canceled. Organizers made the decision due to continued high water and low oxygen levels in the Roanoke River and the low number of teams pre-registered. Water still covers the Wildlife Boat Ramp at the US 17 bridge, making it difficult for boats to get in and out of the river. This is the first time the tournament has been canceled sinpe its inception, having survived Hurricanes Floyd and Dennis in 1999 and a fish kill in 1995. \ARCELLO Real Estate Lots & Land | jfwL 252«338~9161 ^ Fresh NC Shrimp *3.99 lb. 46/50 Count Heads Off LAMBS SEAFOOD 338-1957 Hwy.158 • Camden • 3 Miles from the Bridge MATTRESS OUTLET 335-5737 225 N.
