Cox-Sewell Wedding Miss Haffye Elaine Sewell and Mr. K. Jack Cox were married at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Erwin on June 27. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee Sewell, Sr., of Erwin and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Cox of Pilot Mountain. Wedding music was presented by the ehoir. Miss Blanche Bruton, organist and Miss Harriet Harris of Franklinton, soloist. The Al eolvtes were Bob Bost and (ieorge Sewell, brother of the bride, and filendale Holt of Erwin was cru eifer. The bride was given in marriage marriage by her father who is head of the Standards Department in Erwin. Miss Doris Ann Miss^rifl ERWIN NEWS Mr. Cox was attended by his father as best man. Ushers were Ernest Lee Sewell, Jr., of Erwin, brother of the bride, John Reeves, Kenneth Hunter, Jimmy Fulk, Jimmy Cox, and Joe Allen Redman, all of Pilot Mountain. Immediately after the wedding the bride's parents entertained with a reception at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Cox left for a wed ding trip to the eastern shore.
