Temptations On Soul Train
The Temptations and G.
C. Cameron guest star on
Soul Train, the nationally,
hour-long, televised, teen
dance show this weekend.
Edna Hill, Miss Black
Teenage America, puts in a
cameo appearance. Don
Cornelius is host and
executive producer of the
popular show.
The Tempting T’s, better
known as the Temptations,
one of the world’s greatest
show business acts, stop in
to perform on Soul Train.
The tremendous Tempta
tions, who have made such
million dollar sellers as
‘‘Psychedelic Shack”, and
“Papa Was A Rolling
Stone” will entertain in
their fast-stepping and
lively moving style, that
have made them not only a
household word, but an
institution in the music
industry for ten straight
years. The T’s sing ‘‘Plastic
Man”, “Hey Girl” and
‘‘Master Piece.”
G. C. Cameron is another
swinging singer, who will
follow the Temptations in
that same mellow style,
typical of all Motown
performers. He’ll entertain
the gang with his latest
cuts, ‘‘Let Me Down Easy”
and “No Matter Where
You Are.”
The Soul Train gang, as
usual, display their great
dancing talents in the
famous Soul Train line and televised "enterta'in-

GREENSBORO - The one and only true
super-spectacular, Ringling Bros, and Barnum &
Bailey Circus, 104-years young this season, is
bringing all of its myriad of thrills and
excitements your way. With 24 new attractions
never before seen in America, the Greatest Show
on Earth will present its biggest and best 104th
Edition, coming to the Greensboro Coliseum on
Wednesday, February 6th for performances
through Sunday, February 10th.
The Greatest Show on Earth is produced by
Irvin Feld and Kenneth Feld, and staged and
directed by Richard Barstow.
A startling attraction, the first act in U.S.
Circus history to be presented from the German
Democratic Republic, is the mixed animals of
Erhard and Christiane Samel. For the first time,
Ringling Bros, and Barnum & Bailey Circus will
present, together, Himalayan bears, lions, a
leopard, polar bear, a black panther, a puma and
tigers all in one cage under the control of the
pheomenal, breathtaking Samels.
New Acts
Among the world-renowned Circus stars
performing their nonpareil talents in the fantastic
new show are world famous tiger master Charly
Baumann; the Dimitrovi, Ivanovi and Donevi
Troupes of daredevil Cossack horsemen; fabulous
unicyclist-comedians The King Charles Troupe;
the phenomenal "Michu,” The Smallest Man In
the World, measuring 33 inches in height; the
amazing Monastyruk of Poland, high-perch artist
extraordinaire, and the inimitable denizens of
Clown Alley in all-new comedy antics.
Back by enormous popular demand is “The
First Family of the Air”, The Flying Gaonas,
Mexico’s fabled aerialists; the breathtaking star
of space, Balkanski, performing his feats of
mid-air magic and the greatest of teeterboard
titans, the Kehaiovi, Varadi and Oblocki Troupes.
Spectacles
The Greatest Show on Earth showcases five
spectacular spectacles, each a production marvel
in itself. The show-stoppers are “Welcome to Our
Circus World,” “A Circus Fiesta,” “A Circus
Rainbow,” “Barnum & Bailey’s Razz-Ma-Tazz”
and “The Greatest People on Earth.”
Year in and year out Ringling Bros, and
Barnum & Bailey Circus continues to top itself!
This new 104th Edition goes well beyond all

rendition of that song also
was nominated for best

The National Academy of
Recording Arts and
Sciences said presentations
will be made March 2. There
are 261 nominations in 46
categories.;Final ballots
were mailed to judges this
week.
