Cornelius is host and executive producer of the television program. The Four Tops are perhaps best remembered for their gold singles “Keeper of the J Castle” and “Ain’t No Woman (Like the One I Got).” They also sang “Are You Man Enough,” which was written for the movie Shaft in Africa. As hitmakers go, the Four Tops are about as solid as they come. They come to Soul Train singing “Brother’s Keeper,” “1 Just Can’t Get You Out of My Mind” and “I’m a One Woman Man.” Blue Magic is a talented group of five young singers who have been singing together for little more than a year. Based out of Philadel phia they incorporate the “Philadelphia Sound” with the “old” Philadelphia sing ing style of the early fifties. They will work their magic on the Soul Train audience with two of their popular tunes, “Look Me Up” and “Stop To Start.” The lovely and attractive Barbara Mason is a lady of many talents, which include writing, singing and playing the piano. Althbugh still in her twenties, she has recorded some 40 of her own songs, and among the other artists who have released her material are Gladys Knight and the Pips, Johnny Mann, the Lettermen and the Rovaletts.
