Nfe. Gwendolyn Harrington, an art major at UNC-G and Director of the Arts Pro gram, says that the arts programs are “good places for people (young and old alike) to come and express them selves in art.” The recreation centers are open for many types of art and are virtually free to participants but “we need more black involve ment,” says Ms. Harrington. The facilities that are open are primarily located in the Black communities; but a surprisingly small number of Blacks show up for the class es. According to Ms. Harring ton, one of her classes at Leonard St. has no black in volvement, just whites not within the neighborhood. Even the Hillside Center, where young blacks might appreciate this, do not attend as much as Ms. Harrington would like and expect. There are other arts and crafts programs available through the Park and Recrea tion Department. For more information please contact Ms. Gwendolyn Harrington, Hillside Center, 882-0410, Mondays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. First Application Relieves Itchy Skin Rash Also Helps Promote Healing Medicatcd Zemo quickly relieves itching, irritated skin. The heavenly vision had come to them, and the power to follow it thrilled their whole existence. Out of this inspiration, an inspiration that involved both a heavenly vision and a heavenly passion, came the entire service, character, and power of their lives. The upper room was to the disciples the sign of a new and permanent inspiration, an inspiration that gradually chang ed all their thoughts, that slowly shaped all their feelings, that ultimately controlled their whole being and hope. Have we no upper room? Did the first disciples alone possess this correspondence with the Master? Are his inspirations spent? Is there no place where we can gather, where we can open our whole being to the Highest, where through sincere penitence and honest prayer and brotherly fellowship and devout and reverent worship we may receive power from above? And I’m heavier than a basketball. I’m not heavy as led, but I’m firm and quite round And I’m never damaged w^hen I get a hard fall.
