Mrs. Collier is a graduate ol' I lie Howard university school of music, has attended A. and T. college and liennett and is director of music in the Hamlet liigli school, Hamlet. Miss liurlon is a student of A. and T. college. At tlie Lutheran playground will he Miss Sarah Kllstulieth ltriglit. who is an A. and T. graduate and a former teacher at Central high school, Uoldsboro. Mrs. Grace Donnell lias again donated an urea for nlavirround near the Chtu'les H. Moore school which will be supervised by Mrs. Edna Isley and Miss Ola Turner. Mrs. Isley holds \i 15. S. in home * economics from North Carolina State coll Oo an d.Miss Turner is a graduate of Fayetleville college and .a teacher in 'l'aylorsville. The play area at the Windsor (.'enter will lie supervised liy Miss Jean llright and Mrs. Lee Vonia tireer. Miss bright has been director ol' social activities at the center during the past year, an A. itnd T. graduate, Miss llright has done advanced study at Columbia, Atlanta and Howard universities, ilrs. Oreer is tt newcomer to tireenslioro from Arkansas where she attended Arkansas State college and taught in the public school system. WINDSOR CENTER SWIMMING FOOL ATTRACTS LARGE NUMBER The Windsor Community Center swimming pool opened Juu e3 for the season with Mr. J. S. l.eary in charge. Since the opening much enthusiasm in the swimming program has beeu shown. by children, adults aud service men. Pool hours are from lb Monday, Wednesduy aud Saturday and from 1-8 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunduy with free swimming for men in service on Wednesday and Saturday nights fK f? 10 . Mrs. Bessie Lee is pool cashier and Mr. F. A. Mayfield is in charge of the concession. The life guards for service men include Pvt. F el toil Grayson, Sgt. Haywood, Sgt. Addison and Sgt. Irving.
