Sunday, April 8, at 6:30 p. m., ;
Pfc. Calvin Boze, former band
instructor at the Senior high
school in Houston, Texas, now
a member of Squadron F at ORD,
in a program of songs. Pfc. Boze,
who plays trumpet in the band
at ORD, as well as being vocal
soloist, is a graduate of Prairie
View State College in Texas and
an ardent basketblal player. He
has been at ORD for the past 16 ,
months and bas participated in i
many entertainment features at
the Big Tpo and in he city. His :
program Sunday will include
popular and semi-classical numbers.
A GSO meeting, at which attendance
is obligatory for all 1
Junior hostesses, will be held rn
the Social Lounge ol the club
Tuesday, April 10, at 7:30 p. m.
Thursday, April 12, there will '
be an it formal dance for servicemen
an i registered GSO hostesses.
Dant'ng begins at 8:00 and
ends at 1 1:30. Special entertainment
for intermission will be
under the supervision of Cpl.
Clarence Roberts. Music will be

Easter Egg Hunt
More than 100 boys attended '
an Easter Egg hunt sponsored
by the Boys' Department ot the
Hayes-Taylor Y. M. C. A. The
hunt was held at Dudley high .
school and was made possible by I
donations from various business
firms and citizens of the city.
The annual Easter parade,
sponsored by the Ever - ready
Youth club was held Tuesday
evening, April 3. Wearing apparel
for traveling, sleep, recreation
and evening was displayed.
The Hl-Y club) of Hayes-Taylor
is making plans for the Fath- ..
er and Son banquet to be held
April 16. Speaker for the occasion
will be announced later.
