yester-years. 'Stars" in the
realm of Poetry mentioned,
were: Phyllis Wheatley, Paul

Hughes, Richard Wright, and
James Weldon Johnson. This
phase of history was highlighted
with the playing of a record ?
"God's Trombones" ? in which
was shown the talent displayed

Interspersed with the recording
of The Creation was music ?
the Spiritual: "Give Me That
Old Time Religion" ? one that
was outstanding.

In time be added to the list as
history is written, said Miss

"Stars" in the realm of Sci
ence, were: Dr. Charles Drew,
Dr. Daniel Williams, and George
Washington Carver. Again a
record was played in which It
was very vividly shown the dif

esting, in that the record carried
the actual voice of Dr. Carver.

Daniel Alexander Payne, James
Augusta Healey, Adam Clayton
Powell.
