Mr. Allen Evans, Jr., age 40, of 307 D Cumberland Courts died Sunday night, May 21st at L Richardson Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 24th at 3:00 P.M at Hargett Memorial Chapel. Rev. Prince E. Graves, Pastor of St James Baptist Church offi ciated Burial followed in Maple wood Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Evans of' the home; seven children, three sons, Allen Evans III, Jimmy and Ed ward of the home; four daugh ters, Mickley, Phyllis, Alease of the home and Mrs. Patrica Ann Obsy of Greensboro; his father, ? Mr. Allen Evans Sr. of Greens boro; two bothers, Mr. Theodore Evans and Mr. Vernoe Coltrane; three sisters, Miss Myrtle Evans of New York City, Mrs. Elnore Free of Randleman and Miss Margaret Evans of Greensboro; his grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Siler of Greensboro; one uncle, Mr. Raymond Evans of High Point; two aunts, Mrs. Donne Dotson of Winston-Salem and Mrs. Phonnle Greer of Randle man, N. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 23, 1967, in Ashe boro, N. C. at the Church of God of Prophecy, at 4:00 P.M. Itev. Mrs. Minnie Mclver was the minister officiant. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. His survivors include one daughter, Miss Vickie V. Free land, his mother, Mrs. Ethel Miller, one sister, Mrs. Delmer Lane, and one brother, Mr. Rob ert Freeland, all of Asheboro, N.
