known civic leader, successful

(Philadelphia or St. Paul) where
your premiums are paid. Ask
for a copy of VA Pamphlet 29-22
which discuss the benefits of
this plan.
Q ? I read recently that the
Post-Korean G.I. Bill is two
years old. I got out of service
in 1965 after four years in the
Army. Am I eligible for educa
tion and training benefits under
this b'll? If so, how long do I
have before my entitlement ex
pires?
A ? First, and most important,
your are eligible for education
and training benefits under the
Post-Korean G. I. Bill. This
third generation G.I. bill was
enacted for veterans who served
for at least 180 days consecu
tively in the Armed Forces
some of which was after Jan
31, 1955.

Street, who died early Wednes
day morning at L. Richardson
Memorial Hospital after a few
weeks illness. Rev. J. T. Doug
las will officiate and burial will
be in Piedmont Memorial Park.
Survivors are one brother,

three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Alex
der and Mrs. Ethel Fitzpatrick.

The Editor and Staff of the

of one of their most faithful
helpers at Deal Printing Com
pany. Charles Albert Ledbetter
had been associated with the
Future Outlook for many years
and his last day's work was
getting the May 31 issue ready
to go to press on Thursday, the
30th.
Mr. Ledbetter, better known
as Charlie, was 55 years of age
and made his home at 1016
Portland Street. He suffered
from a heart condition and had
an attack when he arrived at
wck on Friday morning soon
after 8 o'clock. He was dead on
arrival at Wesley Long Hospital
Funeral services were con
ducted on Sunday afternoon at
4 o'clock at Forbis and Dick
ATemo-ia' Chapel. Burial was at
Svi'loV| Methodist Church ceme
tery in Julian.
He was a faithful member of

Burial was in the Veterans
Plot at Maplewood cemetery.

Mrs. Olivia Carmack Milton,
age 34, of 419 Troxler Road,
Greensboro, died Sunday, June
2, at L. Richardson Memorial
Hospital.
Funeral services were_ held
Wednesday at the Garden of
Prayer Holiness Church. Rev.
Cecil Reid officiated and burial
followed in the Green Hall
cemetery.
She is survived by her hus
band, Leroy Milton; four sons,
Howard Leroy Milton, Charlie
Mack Milton, James Alexander
Milton and Keith Milton, all ol
the home; one daughter,. Bettie
Louise Milton, of the hoAe; one
sister, Mrs. Onhilia Milton, and
one brother, Fletcher Carmack,
The remains were placed in
state at the Garden of Prayer
Holiness Church on Tuesday
evening when the family met
their friends.

All of us in the Begonia Gar
den Club have suffered a great
loss in the passing of our mem
ber, Mrs. Banie Lyons. The
news of her untimely death
came as a great shock. The
simpl'citv and sweetness of her
character endeared her to u?.
We feel, in her passing, a loss
too great to put into words. We
will miss her friendliness and
charm of personality. The Club
will be deprived of a valuable
officer, a loval member and ?
