DEATHS AND FUNERALS MR. OSCAR LEE GRAVES Mr. Oscar Lee Graves, age 43, died at Moses Cone Hospital, Sunday, March 22, following sev eral months of illness. He lived at 2303 Phillips Avenue, Apt. C. Funeral service was held Wed nesday, March 25, 2:30 P. M., at Jackson United Methodist Church, Guilford County. Bur ial followed in the church cem etery. The family received their friends at Brown's Funeral Home Tuesday night from 7-9. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pearly B. Graves, Brown Summit, N. C.; six sons, Ron nie, William, Ralph, Walter, Garry, and Barry Graves; three daughters, Misses Brenda. San dy and Diane Graves, all of Brown Summit, N. C.; two sis ters, Mrs. Lillie Bell Thompson and Mrs. Ora Ann Ratliffe, ol Brown Summit, N. C.; half brother, George Graves, Brown Summit, N. C.; three half sis ters, Mrs. Jessie Donnell, Mrs. Evelyn Rankins and Mrs. Min nie Hayes, all of Greensboro, N. C. Brown's Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. MRS. PORTER A. WALLACE Mrs. Porter Andrew Wallace, age 89, died at L. Richardson Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, March 18th, following several | weeks illness. She lived at 912 High Street. The body left Brown's Funer al Home Saturday morning for Wagram, N. C., where funeral service was held Sunday, March 29, at 1:00 P. M., Oak Hill Bap- 1 tist Church.
