and the community has
been a great inspiration in our
family's life. The children's instructors
are there to teach and

HONORED AS
"MOTHER OF THI
Mrs. Sallie Mae Roberson of
2130 McConnell Road, was honored
as "Mother of the Year"
for 1971 on Friday, May 7, at
Dudley Senior High School by
the Future Outlook Newspaper.
Mrs. Roberson is the wife of
Robert M. Roberson and the
mother of five children, four
boys and one girl. She was honored
because in her words "being
a mother of five children
has never been a chore; it is a
privilege I thoroughly enjoy.
Mother's may complain but not
one would trade their duties for
anything else." Being a wonderful
devoted mother to her children
has made Mrs. Roberson
a wonderful example for any
mother to follow. Being unselfish
she does not expect full
credit for the admirable job that
has been done but shares it with
her husband, her church, her
communitv and the children's
