SHIRLEY WATLENGTOl Mrs. Shirley Jean Williair Watlington, age 23 of 510 Crai St., was pronounced dead upo arrival at Moses H. Cone Me morial Hospital, Wednesdaj June 16, 1971 from injuries sh received in an automobile ac cident when the car she wa driving leaped the median fror the northbound lane of U.S. 2 and was struck broadside by truck traveling in the opposit direction. The accident occur red about 2:35 p.m. during driving rainstorm and the ve hides traveled 188 feet afte impact.
