a show for each other Saturday,
Aug. 7, at the Greensboro Public
Library Auditorium. The occasion
was, The Senior CitizenYouths
Talent Show put on by
the Greensboro Jaycees, the
Recreation Department and the
Widows Mites.

and Mrs. Henry Scott, died Tuesday,
Aug. 3, 1971 at the Veteran's
hospital in Baltimore, Md.
James received his elementary
and secondary education in
the public schools of Greens-1
boro, N. C. He also attended
A&T State University and did
further study at New York Technical
Institute. He was a member
of St. Matthews United
Methodist Church and sang with
the Boys' Sextet. James received
an honorable discharge
from the Navy in 1945.
Surviving are his twin daughters,
Dianne Lynnette and Deborah
Annette both of Greensboro,
N. C.; his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Scott of Greensboro,
two sisters, Mrs. Claudia S. Clayborne
and Mrs. Thyresa S.
Plowden; one brother Mr. Thurmon
Scott, all of Baltimore, six
nephews, two nieces and a host
of relatives and friends.

Auxiliary Organized
The Central Carolina Nursing
Center Auxiliary has recently
been organized to be of help to
the Nursing Center at 603 South
Benbow Road, Greensboro. The
Auxiliary held its first meeting
on Saturday, August 7 at the
Center at 6 p.m.
Officers for the new organization
were selected as follows:
