Recently Richard Moore, head i
of A&T's News Bureau, was out |
of town and the school's public |
relations department was like
a human body without a head.
But Moore was in New Orleans,
La. attending a meeting
of the National Association of
State Universities and LandGrant
Colleges where that body
realized his worth by naming
him to the group's 100 member
Executive Committee of Public
Information Officers.
Moore has served as A&T's

Postmaster R. E. Sharpe said
today he had been informed by
the U. S. Postal Service that a
postage stamp will be Issued
next year in tribute to the service
role played by the nation's
100,000 pharmacists. Two new
regular stamps also will be issued.
The stamp will be keyed to
the theme "Partners in Health."

stamp in 1959 to salute the 150th
anniversary of the American
Dental Association. In 1901,
nurses had their stamp, and
earlier this year American hoepitals
were commemorated with
a postal card.
