For a decade, she was a member of the Fred Huntley Choir, and was viewed shortly after her death on television participating in a Christmas Cantata by the choir. (The taping was done previously). She was also a member of Missionary Group No. 6 and the Southwest Wing, Surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Jene Guy, Mrs. Shirley Morehead, Miss Patricia Ledwell and Miss Sharon Ledwell; sons Fred, Jr., Robert and Phillip sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Simpson, Mrs. Willie Mae Moses; Mrs. Ruby Neal, Mrs. Beatrice Gilyard, Mrs. Bessie McMannus, Miss Virginia Barnes, Mrs Sallie Mooes and Miss Mad* Barnes; brothers, James and Adam Barnes, and nine grandchildren.
