Miss Melissa McMillan, of Winston-Salem, spent Thanksgiv ing here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. McMillan. Mrs. Frank Delp is ill with tonsilitis. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Turner and small son are in Sparta again and expect to be here for about two months. Mr. and Mm. J. H. Toms spent the week-end in Jefferson City, Tenn. They were accompanied by little Jean Anne Carter, who had spent the past month here with her aunt, Mm. Toms.
