Alex McCann Woodruff spent Thanksgiving holidays with rela tives at Cherry Lane and Glade Valley. Those visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Woodruff Sunday were Mrs. C. R. McCann and children, of Cherry Lane, and Joe Massey of Independence. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Hash and sons W. A. and Hugh Chatham of Piney Creek, were guests of A. A. Woodruff and family last Friday. O., Dec. 2.— On Friday, November 29, occurred the death of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Creed Fender. He was laid to rest in Mt. View Cemetery on Sunday, December 1. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Aldridge spent the week-end with Mrs. | Aldridge’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Reynolds. A good crowd attended the preaching service at Rich Hill Methodist Church last Monday night. Hersel Edwards visited with his aunt and,uncle, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Dickinson, Sunday afternoon.
