Daylight saving has not taken
very strongly in Sparta or Alle
ghany county. No matter what
the clock says, this county lives
pretty much by sun time anyway,
and pushing the clock up or
down doesn’t alter feeding time
for cattle or stock. \

where her little son, John, Jr.,
has been a patient for sometime.
Roy, the little son of Mr. and
Mrs. John R. Johnson, was buried
on Sunday at the Johnson ceme
tery.
Mr. and Mrs. Wash Vannoy
and little daughter, of Pennsyl
vania, are visiting Mrs. Vannoy’s
parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Brown, and other relatives.

Traphill, on Sunday. They were
agreeably surprised to see Aunt
Mary Joines Woodruff, who has
been visiting her son, Paul, of
Rocksprings, Wyoming, and
brother, Joshua Joines, of Mon
tour, Idaho.

at Vox school house last week by
Rev. Lowie, of West Virginia, and
Revs. William Moxley and Suit,
of that vicinity. Miss Helen Truit
was organist. There was good
singing during the meetings,
which closed Sunday night. Sev
eral from here attended.
Mr. and Mrs. Orlie Rector, of
Pennsylvania, returned home last
Wednesday, after spending sev
eral days here with relatives and
friends.
Mrs. Bertha Moxley, of West
Virginia, is spending sometime
with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Fen
der.
