' . -' ;. CONVENTION f'EETS AT l! E NEW MEETING HOUSE FOR GRACE CHURCH The work on the new meeting house for the Grace Methodist church is making fine progress. The contractor expects to have it so that service can be held In the basement Sunday, and the contract calls for a turnkey job by November flrnt. This work started about the middle of Aug ust and has gore along at an un usual pace. Mr. J. H. Kennedy has the contract for the building and he has liut no opportunity to do a good job and do it quick. The contract price of the buill Ipg is 3,400 all of which has al ready bpen plndged or pMd in cash and when the job is finished it will be paid for. It's strictly a cash transaction provided a'l who have pledged come op with their amounts in lime which they will most certainly do. It is es tlmated that the buildirg com plote and furnished rill cost $3,000. It will be a good building, welf designed, well arranged and well constructed.
