HOME BUILDING AND LOAN A GROWING CONCERN The Home Building and Ixian As sociation is a progressive, yet relia ble institution whose admirable poli cies and superior service to the pub lic is evidence by the fact that their business has been steadily growing since organization in 1923. This institution has added to as great an extent as any other in the the upbuilding of the social and home life of the community. It is an institution in which the people have confidence, not only be cause the laws of the State i and nation make it a safe association to do business with, but also because its affairs have always been in the hands of men of experience in the commercial world; men who know the people and men whom the peo pie know. The object for which this institu tion was organized was to furnish a a safe profitable place for invest ment for its members and use these investments to aid other member? in building and owning their homes. The wise policies of its manage ment is evidence by the fact that it has large assets. The safety of its methods is further evidenced by the fact that it louas exclusively on first mortgages, real estate. The real citizen is the home own-, er and the Home Building and Loan/ Association has helped many a man on the road to success by encourag ing home ownership. We take pleasure in this editiom of pointing to the Home Building and Loan Association as one of lUe vital factors in the continued devel opment not only in Kings Mountain but in the entire community.
